Rachel Phelps

Rachel Phelps is the Owner/Creator of the blog www.prestonspeaks.com.  This is a pet blog from a West Highland Terrier’s (Preston Peabody’s) point of view. Rachel has an extensive background in website design and content management. She also oversees the social media endeavors and website content and design for several non-profits including the local humane society.   When she is not busy with social media she works full time in the smokeless tobacco industry as an analyst.
Rachel is also involved in the animal welfare community.  She is  on the board of directors for the Owensboro Humane Society, is the Kentucky state rep for Westie Rescue Southeast, helps with transport for Westie Rescue Indiana, and is on the planning committee for Barkworld Pet Expo.
Rachel and her husband Brad have five “fur kids” –Preston and Elvis (a westie as well) and three cats Dr. Pepper, Mr. Pibb,  and Ashes.  She holds an undergraduate degree in computer science, a  masters in public administration and a MBA from Western Kentucky University and resides in Owensboro, Kentucky.
