#SMBSTL Staff Attends WordCamp Chicago

If you have been following us on Twitter and Facebook for the last few days, then you know that we have been attending WordCamp Chicago 2011 at the DePaul University Student Center. Kim (Communications Director) and myself have been soaking up the wonderfulness that is WordPress information, tools, and tips. I can honestly say that this experience was well worth the $40 ticket price, and I have been taking notes like crazy trying to make sure I didn’t miss anything.

RSVP: STL Social Media Chicks Tweet-Up at Hotel Lumiere

What happens when you get a bunch of fun chicks together who enjoy networking and social media? The answer is a fabulous tweet-up that is full of food, fabulousness, and fun. Show Me the Blog along with the STL Social Media Chicks are having an awesome tweet-up soiree at Hotel Lumiere on Friday, July 22nd from 7-9pm. The event is free and will consist of appetizers, beverages, and networking. We will also be tweeting, Facebooking, Google Plus’ing and much, much more.

WordCamp is coming to St. Louis August 6th

At Show Me the Blog, we heavily prefer WordPress over other blogging modules. So we were elated to find out that WordCamp is finally coming to our neck of the woods August 6th at Maryville University. WordCamp is the preeminent WordPress conference in which you can learn everything about the interface including design, development, and business in terms of the blogging tool.
