Show Me the Blog no longer missing from Twitter hashtag search

For the last few weeks, we have noticed that our tweets haven’t been appearing in the Twitter search under hashtags #smbstl #stl #smbstlwhiz. It was if our tweets were being blocked on Twitter for some reason so we got on the case to make sure that we could solve this issue.

After searching online, it seemed as though this problem only happened to those with private or protected accounts or accounts that somehow violated Twitter’s rules. We had neither of those issues so we decided to contact support so they could help us figure it out.

Suffice to say, after 24 hours, the kind people at Twitter restored our searchable tweets and we are now appearing under hashtag searches. It feels good to be a part of the gang again when it comes to tweeting about #smbstl.

If you are having this same issue, you can also contact Twitter support, who can make you searchable again, unless you have violated their terms of service.
