Recap: Monetizing 101 Event at Whiz Tech Cafe

One of the questions I get asked the most regarding my own blog was how I make an income with the site. So we thought it would be best to present a workshop in which some of St. Louis’ professional bloggers and social media gurus could present their tips and suggestions on how to make money.

The event ended up being a well-attended fete of bloggers in all sorts of niches and genres—some have been blogging for years while others haven’t begun blogging yet.

We had three speakers who gave presentations: @TheCubicleChick, @Blksportsonline and @CampingGearTV; our friend @RobynsWorld was supposed to also join us as speaker but wasn’t feeling well. We missed you Robyn!

  Really great event. Ben and I appreciated the opportunity to share some of what we do, but even more than that really enjoyed the other presenters. Great stuff! Very impressed by how engaged all of the attendees were as well. What a great community.

  Loved what Robert said…”Feed their ego, they’ll feed your family.” That’s classic.
