Why Should You Attend Show Me the Blog?
There are hundreds of social media and blogging conferences each year. Conferences such as BlogHer, South by Southwest, Blog World, Blogging While Brown, and others bring a different prospective to the blogsphere and the folks who write and actively use social media. We know that if you could, each and every one of you would attend every conference you could.
It’s a hard decision to make—who gets your conference dollars?
That is why we came up with a list of reasons why you should attend Show Me the Blog Social Media and Blogging Conference in October.
Created By a Blogger For Bloggers
This conference was created by a blogger for bloggers who enjoy networking, learning, growing, exchanging information, and embrace social media and new media. The panels and discussions are not sponsor based. They are created to give insight and value to your blogging experience and help those that may want to start a blog of their own.
The Cost of the Conference Is Affordable
The fees for Show Me the Blog are some of the lowest you will see for a conference of this kind. And it is not because of the quality. We have speakers that have spoken at other high cost conferences and conventions. It is because we want to make to affordable for everyone to attend. Keeping the costs low does not make us any money, but since conferences are not our business, it doesn’t have to make us money. We want to inspire people to use their voices in their blogs and in social media without it costing a mint.
It’s In the Show-Me State
Show Me the Blog is held in the wonderful city of St. Louis, home of one of the tallest monuments in the world, the Arch. St. Louis is a great city with plenty to do located in the heart of the midwest. And it is a city in which you can do a lot without having a lot of cash. Enjoy the sights and what we have to offer!
We Will Engage You
This is not your “father’s” conference. This conference is here to inform as well as entertain and engage you. The days of stuffy suits and long drawn out sessions is not what we are about. Our panelists and speakers will interact with you and get you thinking and involved in the conversation. This is not just a conference—its an experience that will be beneficial to all who attend.
Keeping It Real
Our panelists and speakers are not the most popular bloggers and social media types on the planet. But, they are the most resourceful and engaging, and that is why they have been chosen. They will give you ideas and challenge your way of thinking, something that other conferences may not offer you. Our conference is about you, the attendee and not a sponsor.
We hope that this has given you some food for thought, and we hope to see you in October. Remember, early registration is now underway and we have a limited amount of tickets for $40.00. Register today!
